Hi everyone, here I am sharing one of my favouite cuisine Gujje Soosla..To be simple it is raw jackfruit pallya/sukka.The efforts behind doing this is worth sharing I felt. The jackfruit has got it's own mild taste and its a vegan meat for vegetarians. Cutting and cleaning of this unripe young jackfruit in midst of its flowing gum....feel like no...I won't take much trouble in eating this. But it's unique taste will never allow you to reject it that easily. After cleaning, chop them well and boil to in pressure cooker for 3 whistles.Drain it and transfer them to a bowl. Smash them or churn them well in a stone to small pieces. With some garlic ,asafetida,urud dhal, curry leaves and mustard splutter it in coconut oil. Add the smashed jackfruit pieces.To taste red chilli,coriander, jeera flakes powder,pinch of turmeric, salt to taste. Handful of grated coconut can be dressed it well.
