Street Food become Home Food .All set for having spicy, flavoured Masala Puri with Homemade Sev and Puri adding Green Peas masala. #eveningsnack.#streetfood Recipe: Puri making.... For making puri I took 1cup chiroti rava and 2 table spoon maida floor, salt to taste. Roll it like chapathis very thin.. And take some round shape bottle cap and imprint it and the small pooris gets ready. Keep the stove in high flame first and then bring it low when the oil gets heated up .. Fry the pooris and always put oil on top of the pooris while frying to get it bounced. Masala making... Take 200 gms of green peas dry should be soaked a day before.. Boil it in pressure cooker along with 2 potatoes- 5 whistles And in a kadai, fry 1-2 chopped tomatoes, 5 green chilies, some pudina and coriander leaves, ginger and garlic, cloves and cinamon 1 small piece. Once the raw smell goes off make these ingredients paste in a mixer jar. Once again start boiling all the boiled potatoes and green peas together in a high flame and add these masalas. Salt to taste. Garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric and some chat masala could be mixed even during boiling. Once everything gets thick turn off the stove. Your masala is ready now. Sev making... Preparing Sev, I took 1 cup besan, half a tea spoon of turmeric and add heated oil 1tbl spoon, salt to taste. Black pepper powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder can also be added along but I have not used them. Mix the dough well and in the chakkuli making hand machine with small hole one, fill the dough and turn it to get the thinnest strands and fry them directly in oil. Once it gets the crispiness and some colour change you can remove it. Your Sev is ready. Dressing.... Now 2 tomatoes, 1 carrot ,1 onion and few coriander leaves finely chopped keep ready for dressing. Now here we go, take a plate add some 6-7 Pooris, smash them. Add 3 spoon of Masala. Add top of that chopped tomatoes, carrots, onions and coriander leaves and few Sev. Serve them hot ♨ Try them if you have enough patience and time at home. 😀
